Seiko NH35/NH36 automatic movements require a three-hand configuration with hole sizes of: Hour: 1.50mm, Minute: 1.00mm, Second: 0.20mm. The NH34 GMT movement introduces a fourth GMT hand axis, requiring: GMT: 2.20mm, Hour: 1.50mm, Minute: 1.00mm, Second: 0.20mm. Brass is the standard industry material, offering excellent malleability for complex stamping, dynamic diamond-beveling, and plating. Stainless steel offers high strength and rust resistance, making it perfect for sports/dive watch hands. Titanium is used for high-end or oversized hands because it is incredibly lightweight, preventing excessive load on the movement's wheel train.
We use premium Swiss-formulated pigments mixed with synthetic resins, applied in climate-controlled environments. Curing is done in temperature-monitored ovens to prevent bubbles and cracks. PVD protective coats or clear lacquers are applied to lock in the pigment and shield it from moisture and UV rays.
